Labour Relations In labour relations matters lawyers at Stringer Brisbin Humphrey are pragmatic, practical and dedicated to finding solutions that are in our client's long-term interests. Our deep relationships - with trade unions, their representatives and officials of government agencies - allow us to work effectively on your behalf. We aggressively represent our clients in litigation while always looking for opportunities to resolve matters when it is in our client's long-term interest. All members of the firm have extensive experience representing employers before the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB) and the Canadian Industrial Relations Board in proceedings involving: applications for certification, union successorship, construction industry grievances, unfair labour practice complaints, applications for the termination of bargaining rights and unlawful strikes. We also appear before the OLRB in proceedings under the Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Environmental Protection Act, Environmental Bill of Rights, Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act and the Public Sector Labour Relations Transition Act.
